Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s form in recent T20I’s has not been good and watching this the critics have started raising questions on his finishing skills. After winning a nail-biter in the third T20I last night to clinch the three match series 2-1, India captain Virat Kohli took a dig at the critics for “conviniently” irritating only Dhoni, whereas the other players have also failed to score big runs for the team including himself.
In the second T20I Dhoni scored 49 runs from just 37 deliveries, but India lost that match to the Kiwis and most of the experts blamed the star Indian wicketkeeper batsman as he played a lot of dot balls. Legendary Indian batsman VVS Laxman suggested that the team management should try a young batsman in T20s, on the other hand Virender Sehwag told that the management should talk to Dhoni to make him understand his “role in the team”.
